• Beginners may also attend all the hourly courses. The higher level courses are intended  for more experienced students – with all our students compete against each other.
  • As the course progresses, naturally the teaching gains momentum, but it is still possible for new students to enroll after the courses have begun, as long as it doesn't pose a problem to start at a faster rhythm.
  • What’s important is that everyone enjoys dancing and regular attendance increases both condition and skill almost unnoticeably.

 

Reggaeton

In the Latino world this is perhaps the most popular current dance style and carries you along with an energetic tempo and very varied body movements. Reggaeton music is fast rhythm music, a mixture of reggae, hiphop and afro.  Roynet uses a fun and skillful choreography which changes at every dance session, it is full of energy and leaves no one feeling cold.  His dance styles are very street-wise an these dance sessions teach movements and choreography which you can take straight into other disco dances.

In Rosi’s Reggaeton sessions you will learn delectable movements of the hips as well as the upper body and women will especially appreciate learning feminine ways of body movements.  Rosi teaches efficient techniques, of which the choreography creates enjoyment of the whole body strength and these movements can also be used in other disco dances.
At the spring season we will have a third reggaetón teacher: Julio Naples!

 

Bailes Cubanos (Latino mix)

This dance course will introduce you to different traditional Latino dance forms.  During Rosi’s session you will dance 2-3 solo dance styles, such as salsa, merengue, bachata, cha cha cha, reggaeton afro cubano, etc. The theme will be different for each session.  Every different dance will teach the steps according to the music.  Rosi teaches basic techniques so that everyone can take part.  It is a very good course for beginners.

Couple’s salsa Cuban style – beginners level stages 1 & 2

During Roynet, Rosi and Julio's course you will learn to dance Cuban salsa with a partner. The session is suitable for both beginners as well as those who are more experienced.  Rosi will teach the beginners level.  Under her efficient direction you will easily learn both style and technique, which will progress to choreography.  Her teaching method is both clear and detailed.  During stages 1 & 2 (Julio and Roynet) you will learn genuine Cuban style rhythm dance with different choreography as couples. Come and experience this popular Latino couple dance session. You may come without a partner since during the session partners will change in any case.

 

 

Modern Latino mix

During Dany’s course you will learn to dance solo Latino dances in a new way. The dance choreography progresses using original Latino rhythms. Dany’s routines are fun and energetic

 

Latino Pop Dance

This show element course has choreography which has taken its influences from hiphop and dance halls.  American pop and Latino pop music is used. Our Latino teacher, Dany, will direct this fun session of American pop culture. The course is a fast tempo workout and is recommended for those who have already practiced solo dances – though anyone who is willing can join in the dance routines

 

Zumba

Zumba has grown in great popularity in Finland during 2009.  Briefly defined, Zumba is Latino aerobics. This happy changeable Latino music rhythms use varied choreography.  Many different body movements from various Latino dance styles make this a very versatile energetic Latino aerobics hour.  Dany is a wonderful creative teacher who enthuses students with tremendous energy to enjoy the dance exercises. . Bollywood

Bollywood is a dance style which originates from Bombay.  It contains choreography and music from Indian movies.

During the dancing hour different varieties of dance movements are practiced which are taken from Indian films as well as from classic Indian dances.  During the hour different dances are to differing musical tempos.  No previous experience is needed – just bring with you a happy spirit!

 

Bellydance

Bellydance is suitable for all women. Oriental music and choreography take into account abdominal muscle movement as well as the use of hands. The dance hour will serve well to strengthen abdominal muscles.  Bellydance is not only just good exercise – it is also a beautiful dance rhythm with fascinating music

 

 

Pole Dancing / pole acrobatics

Pole dancing has greatly increased in popularity in recent years and its interest continues to increase.  It is a very efficient dance form that helps shape the body. Since during the sessions the body muscles will become firmer and more supple.   Nora’s pole dance / pole acrobatics will focus more specifically on pole acrobatics.  Tango and pole dancing on the floor with assistance will be taught – without forgetting the dance rhythm.
